My Mission

“I want to help people, I want to help people love themselves more, I want to help people like who they are.”

I had to quit fighting it and be here with my clients and serve them in whatever way possible. When I was younger I was always messing with hair; cutting, braiding, styling, merely loving hair whatever way I could. Throughout my youth, I dreaded the Idea of going to beauty school, and I thought it would be a miserable experience. Thinking….and thinking, I am way too good at hair to not pursue this as a career. I am currently five years into becoming a Cosmetologist, and I am continually thanking myself for choosing to do so. I wanted to be a Nurse, a Cowgirl, a Firefighter, a Soldier and a Psychologist. I never wanted to pursue hair. With two daughters in tow and working three different jobs, I went to Designs Cosmetology School.

What I thought at the time was the longest time of my life was only a single step towards the success I had been longing for, for so long. I am here in the most beautiful community in the country loving what I do and living a minimalist life. Its humbling knowing I do not need many things to cloud my vision of success. My client’s achievements in their life are my success as their hairdresser.

It’s amazing how many experiences I have the pleasure of preparing clients for; dances, family photos, vacations, weddings, funerals, engagements, babies, dates, anniversaries and so on. I love and appreciate my clients immensely, and I look forward to as many years behind the chair as you’ll have me. It’s a blessing to have the opportunity to serve as a stylist in such a fantastic community. I cannot thank you enough for being a part of my success.

Following my gut and reaching outside my comfort level was the best thing I have ever accomplished. I can declare, again and again, DO IT! You are only one step away from starting a journey that leads you to the life you want. Go where your heart takes you and live the happiest life you can.
